Just taking a moment to reflect upon you
without prejudice, without anger, and without a doubt because I must
acknowledge your grace and proclaim my gratitude to the heavens
There was a natural light within that illuminated the world around you
including the darkness that I carried within myself
Your smile, so elegant and so bright disarmed my defences and I adored every minute of it
Your very nature reinforced the existence of God, and of the angels
of gentleness, and of the beauty of creation itself
So in reflection, I thank you for those divine gifts that you unselfishly bestowed upon me
