Into the Midst of the Storm 2021

In the heart of a dusk red sky, lightning flashes and the heavens rumble

the great harbinger in the expanse patiently enters while the earth quakes and it’s children huddle in fear

Families battle in vain for control of consequence and fate

In blood and sacrifice, covenants of the ages are made for hearts and souls

while ignorance and bliss reign supreme over knowledge and wisdom

Within the swirl of wind and hail, tears fall and cries remain uncomforted

Sleeping giants awake from their slumber as deep caverns fill with voices never before heard

The moments for Swift Hello’s and farewells subsides

Shadows from the east and west slowly fade into the darkness

All that endures are choices and resolutions as the storm abates and the millennium dawns
