De-Evolution of Being (A Poem)

De-evolutionI

What a light that shines through – so sparkling, so bright!

Greatness foretold just on the edge of the night

There were obstacles for sure both natural and contrived

upon which pain and hatred are derived

Faith questioned and alliances have no meaning

The lost choir is revealed now the child is weaning

from dancing fairies and earthly delights

the Truth is at hand along with the will to fight

the possessed, the giants, and that which goes bump in the night

This battle does humble, twist and turns the soul

leaving the mind and the spirit less whole

until the very nature of the adversary abides within

when nightfall and the sunrise does become twin

Indistinguishable, iridescent and inescapable one from another

No Father to console thee and death is imminent for the Earth Mother

Though much that is known, there is no where to grow

Swift judgement is courted, nay demanded in hope of repose!

Wisdom I

Adiuva me verterem figuram mundi  Thoth II
